Handicraft making is therapeutic. We would like residents to join us to embark on a handicraft making journey for the pure fun of it.

The intent of this interest group is for mature residents who are interested to spend some time to slow things down and nurture our souls by doing handifcraft. This bi-monthly affair serves as a way to bring us all out of our homes and to socialise too. Afterall, we have been neighbours for 16 years and still counting.

Punggol Park CC our neighbour across the street has graciously agreed to host us allowing us to open an interest group to bring together more crafters. Come, join us for some good fun! No basic skill required.

on that nite::

The CYN lantern on 13 Jan 2017 at Punggol Park CC:

Sow Cheng (Angelfish)  Linda (Angelfish)  Mrs Tan (Angelfish), Chiu Hu (Oscar), Sharon Chan (Angelfish), Millie , Sharon (Oscar),  Rachel (Angelfish, Far Right) all came.

HEY Rivervale Residents had a great time making CNY Lantern!

We created some unusual laterns ...some weird looking lanterns...some very profesional looking laterns.

It was a great nite. I got to know Linda who is residing at the same block as me. For 16 years, only that night then I know that the lady I meet once in a blue blue moon at lift lobby is Linda!?

The next handcraft session will be in March. This time round, Sharon@ blk 3 will be     teaching us how to make easter bunny using socks! Do look out for the workshop.
