Refuse Disposal


  • Loose or wet kitchen waste should be sealed in plastic bags before disposing into refuse chutes.
  • To prevent choking of the refuse chutes and for safety reasons, any bulky refuse and breakage items such as glass bottles, etc should be brought to and disposed of at the bin centre.
  • Bulky refuse and breakable items should not be thrown down the refuse chutes after 10.00 p.m. to avoid creating noise nuisance.
  • Residents should arrange for unwanted furniture or other bulky items to be disposed out of the estate at residents’ cost.
  • No flammable items, wet cement and other adhesive materials are permitted to be thrown into the refuse chutes. Offenders of such act, if caught, shall be liable for the cost of replacement or repair to the damages caused to the refuse chute.
