Recreational Facilities


  • For full enjoyment of facilities by all residents at The Rivervale, it is hoped that all the residents will observe and comply with the guidelines.
  • Residents and their guests are entitled to use the recreational and communal facilities during the operating hours. However, residents must be present with their guests at all times and they are to ensure that their guests comply with all the House Rules.
  • Residents are required to produce their Resident’s Proximity Access Card while making reservations for the recreational facilities. Failure to do so may result in the refusal of use of the recreational facilities.
  • Residents instructing their housemaids to make reservations for the recreational facilities on their behalf are to produce an authorization letter to the Management Office.
  • Children under 12 years old shall not be allowed to use any of the recreational facilities unless accompanied by their parents or supervisory adult who shall be responsible for their safety and proper behaviour.
  • Residents and guests must be properly attired when using the recreational facilities.
  • Residents shall be responsible for any damage caused to the recreational facilities by them or their guests. Residents must inform the Security or the Management staff of any existing damages to the recreational facilities they or their guests are about to use, failing which they may be held responsible for such damage.
  • The Management shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal property, injury or death arising from the use of the recreational facilities.
  • The Management, security personnel or any appointed representative of the Managing Agent may require any person in the recreational area to identify himself or herself.
  • Except for those activities for which the recreational facilities were specially intended, no other games or activities (such as football, roller-skating, roller-blading, skate boarding, aerobics and horse-play of any sort) will be allowed in or about the recreational facilities.
  • Residents and their guests must abide by all the rules and regulations when they utilize the recreational facilities. Each facility has its own set of rules.
  • Smoking is prohibited within the vicinity of the enclosed recreational facilities.
  • The Management reserves the right to change any rules and regulations. Residents shall be notified in advance before such changes take effect.
