  • For full enjoyment of facilities by all residents at The Rivervale, it is hoped that all the residents will observe and comply with the guidelines.
  • Residents and their guests are entitled to use the recreational and communal facilities during the operating hours. However, residents must be present with their guests at all times and they are to ensure that their guests comply with all the House Rules.
  • Residents are required to produce their Resident’s Proximity Access Card while making reservations for the recreational facilities. Failure to do so may result in the refusal of use of the recreational facilities.
  • Residents instructing their housemaids to make reservations for the recreational facilities on their behalf are to produce an authorization letter to the Management Office.
  • Children under 12 years old shall not be allowed to use any of the recreational facilities unless accompanied by their parents or supervisory adult who shall be responsible for their safety and proper behaviour.
  • Residents and guests must be properly attired when using the recreational facilities.
  • Residents shall be responsible for any damage caused to the recreational facilities by them or their guests. Residents must inform the Security or the Management staff of any existing damages to the recreational facilities they or their guests are about to use, failing which they may be held responsible for such damage.
  • The Management shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal property, injury or death arising from the use of the recreational facilities.
  • The Management, security personnel or any appointed representative of the Managing Agent may require any person in the recreational area to identify himself or herself.
  • Except for those activities for which the recreational facilities were specially intended, no other games or activities (such as football, roller-skating, roller-blading, skate boarding, aerobics and horse-play of any sort) will be allowed in or about the recreational facilities.
  • Residents and their guests must abide by all the rules and regulations when they utilize the recreational facilities. Each facility has its own set of rules.
  • Smoking is prohibited within the vicinity of the enclosed recreational facilities.
  • The Management reserves the right to change any rules and regulations. Residents shall be notified in advance before such changes take effect.

  • Each subsidiary proprietor will be issued with Resident’s Proximity Access Cards free of charge. Each apartment is issued with four (4) Resident’s Proximity Access Cards free of charge.
  • Resident’s Proximity Access Cards are used to gain entry into the estate by the side entrance and the main entrance. It also serves as an identity card for booking of recreational facilities.
  • Resident’s Proximity Access Cards are issued only to the subsidiary proprietors. For tenanted apartments, tenants are advised to collect the Resident’s Proximity Access Cards from the subsidiary proprietors.
  • The Management reserves the right to request for documentary evidence to prove that the applicant(s) is/are residing in the condominium before issuing the Resident’s Proximity Access cards.
  • Any addition or replacement of cards issued above the allowable number will be charged at S$20.00 per card (maximum of 2 cards). Units that require more than 2 cards (chargeable) will be considered on a case-by-case basis and documentary evidence is required to prove that the, applicants are residing in the condominium.
  • To replace a lost card, a letter declaring the loss of the card is required. Please inform the Management Office of any lost cards. When an apartment is sold, all cards issued must be returned to the Management Office or handed over to the new owner, failing which a charge of S$20.00 per card is imposed for the application and payable by the new owner.
  • Only a valid Resident’s Proximity Access Card will entitle the resident to the use and booking of condominium facilities. Owners who have leased out their apartment/s will not be entitled to use the condominium facilities as their rights have been transferred to the lessee.

  • Bulk deliveries and house removal should be carried out during the following hours:
  • Mondays to Sundays & Public Holidays: 10.00 am to 5.00 p.m.
  • Residents are required to inform the Management of their schedules for such removals.
  • All deliveries and removals must be reported at the security checkpoint prior to the work being carried out. Otherwise, the Management reserves the right to refuse entry of any unknown personnel for purposes that cannot be verified.
  • All contractors and their workmen must report at the security check-point to obtain identification cards, and must wear their cards at all times.
  • Workmen carrying out deliveries/removals should use only designated lifts and staircases so as not to inconvenience residents. Packing and crating materials must be disposed of and removed from the condominium by the residents on the same day that they are brought in.
  • Residents are not allowed to tap water/electricity supply from the common areas.
  • No unwanted materials, debris, etc should be left in the corridors, lift lobbies, fire escape staircases or any other common areas, falling which, they will be removed by the Management and the cost of such removal shall be charged to the resident concerned.
  • Residents shall ensure that no damage is caused to any part of the common areas, common property or the building(s) during such removal. Any damage caused shall be rectified by the resident concerned at his own cost, forthwith upon receipt of notice to that effect from the Management.
  • Residents shall be responsible for the conduct and behaviour of their appointed contractors while they are in the condominium.

  • Household pets that cause nuisance or unreasonable disturbance shall be promptly removed from the estate after notice has been given by the Management.
  • Pets are strictly not allowed in or about the recreational facilities, pool side surroundings, children’s playgrounds and such other areas designated as out-of-bound for pets.
  • Pets shall not be allowed loose in common areas. When in transit in elevators they shall be carried or be on a short leash.
  • Pet owners shall be responsible for the cost of cleaning or repairing common areas littered or damaged by their pets.

  • Loose or wet kitchen waste should be sealed in plastic bags before disposing into refuse chutes.
  • To prevent choking of the refuse chutes and for safety reasons, any bulky refuse and breakage items such as glass bottles, etc should be brought to and disposed of at the bin centre.
  • Bulky refuse and breakable items should not be thrown down the refuse chutes after 10.00 p.m. to avoid creating noise nuisance.
  • Residents should arrange for unwanted furniture or other bulky items to be disposed out of the estate at residents’ cost.
  • No flammable items, wet cement and other adhesive materials are permitted to be thrown into the refuse chutes. Offenders of such act, if caught, shall be liable for the cost of replacement or repair to the damages caused to the refuse chute.
